Director of Hands of Grace Africa
Terri founded “Hands of Grace Africa, Inc.” in 2009 as a means of creating sustainable income for women of extreme poverty in rural Southern Africa. She teaches the use of hand skills (sewing, crocheting and various crafting methods); basic computer skills; Biblical Business Practices and English. Terri has worked in three, neighboring countries with more than 100 participants which are generally widows, single mothers and older siblings caring for younger family members. In many cases they are the remnants of HIV, war and disease. She offers a hand up rather than a hand out and empowers the participants to change their own circumstances. Terri is currently working towards building a restaurant and as well as the already established trade sets.
